On the Front Tours is a specialist WW1 and WW2 history tour operator. We are based in Berlin and run tours in Munich, Nuremberg, the Rhine and Alsace-Lorraine. Our guides are historians with military and academic backgrounds, including PhDs in Holocaust Studies. They lead small-group and private tours of sites such as Sachsenhausen, the Seelow Heights, the Battle of Berlin and Hitler's Berlin. We also design multi-day programmes and battlefield studies for schools, tour operators and military units, including the British Army. Since 2020, our focus has been to explain what happened, where it happened and why it still matters.
