About
Birth of England Tours offers small-group (max 8) historical guided tours centered on England's founding era, including 'King Alfred Origins,' 'King Alfred Exile,' and 'Athelstan & Ethelfled' itineraries. Tours trace Viking-era conflicts and the reconquest and unification of England across sites tied to Wessex, Mercia, Northumbria, and Wales, with a focus on Eamont Bridge, where England's unification was marked in 927 AD. The guide is based in South West England.
