Fun Fact
I actually became a tour guide in Warsaw completely by accident. One day, I saw an ad online for Withlocals and signed up, thinking I was joining as a traveller — I thought it was a platform where I could travel around the world and explore cities with locals. And then I discovered… I had actually signed up to become a host and show people around my own city! I immediately wrote to Withlocals saying, “Sorry, this is a mistake — I’m not supposed to be a guide!” and wanted to withdraw. But somehow, they convinced me to give it a try. And here I am, years later — still showing people around Warsaw and getting ready to attend another TripCon! Sometimes the best adventures really do start with a mistake.
