About
History and travel have shaped how I see the world. I lived in the UK for six months in high school, and that experience sparked a lifelong interest in international relations, culture, and the stories behind the places we visit. Today I’m a certified tour director with extensive hiking and history knowledge, ready to lead guests through national parks, major cities, and off-the-beaten-path destinations. Before tour directing, I spent years as a U.S. Soccer referee, which taught me how to lead a group, make quick calls, and keep people calm when things don’t go as planned. My work in national client operations and event logistics gave me the planning side, like keeping schedules tight and details covered. Add a lot of time on the road and on the trail, and I’m comfortable in unfamiliar places and happy to help others feel the same way. When a flight gets delayed or a trail closes, I know how to stay calm and find the next best option for the group. I want every guest to feel looked after, curious, and excited to be there, whether we’re standing on a trailhead at sunrise or in a city square with centuries of history behind it.
