About
My career has always been guided by my passions for music, hospitality, and travel. After spending three decades in music education and the restaurant business, I embarked on my encore career in travel and tourism, turning sweet dreams into reality! In 2016, I became a travel advisor and founded K Travels, LLC, where I research, plan, and book customized travel experiences. I like to think of myself as a bit of a “pied piper,” inspiring others to explore the world and bringing people together through shared adventures. My love of travel extends beyond sightseeing. I enjoy discovering local cultures and traditions, especially through food. Taking cooking classes during my travels and recreating those recipes for family and friends back home is one of my favorite ways to keep the memories alive. In 2019, I became a certified tour director and guide, expanding my passion for travel into leading groups of students and adults. My experience has taken me throughout Arizona, Boston, the Southwest national parks, Maryland, New England, New York City, Pennsylvania, Orlando, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. Whether I'm planning a customized itinerary, escorting a group on an international adventure, or sharing the stories that bring a destination to life, I love helping people discover new places, embrace new experiences, and create lasting memories. For me, travel is about more than the places we visit — it's about the people we meet, the stories we share, and the connections we make along the way. Let's go exploring!
