I’m a tour director with 10 years of experience leading student tours throughout Washington, D.C., New York City, Philadelphia, Nashville, Charlottesville, and Memphis. A retired music teacher, I bring a passion for education, history, and the arts to every tour. I currently own and operate a local tour company offering historical and architectural tours in Staunton, Virginia. In addition to my work in tourism, I’m a professional jazz trombonist and singer, bringing a lifelong love of music and storytelling to the communities and visitors I serve.
Hobbies & Interests
Travel is my passion! When I'm not traveling or leading a tour, I'm usually planning travel and tours. I also love performing music in my jazz group, and singing karaoke. Fitness is very important to me. I am a serious lap swimmer.
Fun Fact
I have lived in Switzerland and Germany for a combined 4 years where I taught music and English in private and international schools.
